Discerning Our Call

The primary objective of the formation process is to prepare people for the total consecration of themselves to God in the following of Christ, at the service of the Church’s mission. Formation is the path of gradual identification with the attitude of Christ toward the Father.  It is the dynamic process by means of which individuals are converted to the Word of God in the depths and being, and at the same time, learn how to discover the signs of God in earthly realities.

You have listened, prayed and discerned your call to religious life and, so too, has the congregation.  We now invite you to begin the steps of initial formation.  This will be a journey of becoming a Cordi-Marian Missionary Sister.  The journey takes about nine years.  It includes candidacy, aspirancy, postulancy, the novitiate and a period as a temporary professed sister before making final vows.
